			<description><![CDATA[ I go to a school that&#39;s graded solely in H/P/F. Preclinically, I have mostly passes with some honors. Clinically, I have all passes. Now supposedly, the
dean&#39;s office keeps a numeric record of our grades in order to ultimately assign us class rank/AOA status but I&#39;m not sure if that information is
disclosed when we apply for residencies (I was given the vague estimate of top 30% in the class) But is this a huge problem in terms of applying for a spot in

another year to reapply.

Here&#39;s my situation:  I was a solid applicant, had 10 interviews, ranked all those programs, and was very surprised to not match.  (and no, I don&#39;t

			<description><![CDATA[ 4th year starts in a month. i was going to start off by taking a vacation month to do some research and try for a pub, then i&#39;m doing an away, then i&#39;m
doing a home rotation, and then i&#39;m torn...that&#39;s 3 and I&#39;ve heard advice to stay at 3. Others have said more is merrier.

If I do do something derm-related, what should it be? Another derm rotation? Or try for something more unique like dermpath or pediatric derm?

			<description><![CDATA[ This really has nothing to do with derm, but I&#39;m getting ready to start internship at a very demanding program.  Fourth year has been amazing and I&#39;m
pretty much home all the time with my baby.  I don&#39;t want to leave and start this awful year and have my child not even know me (as happened to a close
friend of me-- her son literally will not let her hold him).  What&#39;s worse is my husband also works crazy hours so our child won&#39;t see either of us.

I ask because I&#39;ve noticed a disturbing downward trend in my own shelf exams as the year progresses.

These scores do make it onto our final transcript (my lowest one to date has been an 80%) but impact our overall grades very slightly. (Shelf is 10%, clinical
