We have one position available for a Melanoma Fellow at the Washington Hospital Center in Washington, DC, starting July 1, 2009. We have a multi-disciplinary pigmented lesion clinic at the Washington Cancer Institute, headed by dermatologists, Dr. Suraj Venna and Dr. Gary Peck. Duties include working with dermatologists, surgical oncologists, oncologists, and other specialists to coordinate the care of patients who have or are at risk for melanoma. The fellow will have the opportunity to conduct clinical research and is encouraged to present their research project(s) at conferences. In addition, the fellow will have close contact with the Department of Dermatology and actively participate in resident clinics, book review, journal club, and other academic activities. Applicants must have completed a minimum of PGY-1 and must be eligible to obtain a Washington, DC medical license. A salary and benefits are provided.
